Cardiac Ultrasound has a significant role in the assessment and planning of patients with valvular heart disease.
In this 1-hour webinar, topics that will be covered:
– How to identify the cause of mitral regurgitation as well as how to quantify MR
– How to assess the haemodynamic response to volume overload (including the use of strain for detection of subclinical LV dysfunction)
– Determining the feasibility of mitral repair, additional imaging and echo parameters important for MitraClip work-up for patient selection
Post-procedural imaging will be discussed to determine MitraClip success, and the potential complications to look out for.
