An educational symposium run by the University of Melbourne Mobile Learning Unit In conjunction with the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and Professionals in Cardiac Sciences Australia (PiCSA).
Aim:
To provide small group and practical education for cardiac physiologists and allied professionals to improve patient outcomes through better knowledge and understanding of:
- New and developing CIED technology
- Complex follow up issues
- Prevention, recognition and management of infection
- Lead extraction, the procedure and its indications
- Difficult decision making in CIED management
