Key Learning Objectives
1. To provide small group and practical education for cardiac physiologists and allied professionals to improve patient outcomes through better knowledge and understanding of:
• New and developing CIED technology
• Complex follow up issues
• Prevention, recognition and management of infection
• Lead extraction, the procedure and its indications
• Difficult decision making in CIED management
2. To improve recognition, understanding and management of cardiac device infection
3. To demystify and improve understanding of lead extraction.
