SUMMARY:Surf Sand and Soundwaves 2023
DESCRIPTION:It’s back! After the devastating floods and pandemic waves last year\, we’re determined to celebrate holding this event for the 10th time in 11 years. Join us for the weekend and learn from several interstate gurus\, featuring Dr Sofie Piessens (O&G)\, and Dr John Younger (Cardiac)\, both highly respected in their fields of expertise. \nWhat are the programs about this year?\nThe Cardiac program is designed to improve diagnosis\, management\, and treatment options for Pulmonary Hypertension patients. Often these patients will present with “shortness of breath” as their chief complaint\, and if not correctly diagnosed\, these patients will not be referred to a tertiary pulmonary hypertension clinic for further testing\, missing out on accessing lifesaving medical therapies that are available for the condition. \nThe Obs & Gynae program is aimed at anyone who does gynaecology and obstetric ultrasound\, whether you’re a general or emergency department sonographer or doctor doing ultrasound. The second day is more specialised\, and includes ectopic pregnancy. \n  \nRegistration closes Sunday 5th March 2023 \nRegister online
